· The road gradient should either be neutral or slope toward the north and east especially for ground floor establishments.
· The best place for the owner to sit is toward the southwest corner, facing north.

· The entrance door must be towards the northeast for a north or east-facing road.
· The entrance door must be in the west of northwest or south of southeast for a west or south-facing road.
· If water is used in the operation of machinery, store it in an underground sump in the northeast corner.
· The shape of the roof is important. A flat roof is neutral. A roof sloping equally in two directions is also neutral. If, however, the roof slopes more toward the south or west, it has to be corrected either by changing it or adding a false ceiling. A north light roof is beneficial.
· Load the northeast the least and the southwest the most.
· Correct only the area of land that is to be used for construction and offsets around it.
· Buildings in the south and west should be higher than those in the north and east.
· The distribution transformer should be in the southeast corner. The level of this should never be lower than the northeast corner. The canteen should be placed in the southeast.

Before you choose a property please see that the magnetic alignment of the land is perfect. (north-south alignment). The maximum variation acceptable is 10 degress . For east facing and south facing houses, the main door should be within 40% distance of the south east corner or north east corner. Kitchen should be in preferably in south east or northwest area.
